Dr. Godkin has completed the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board examinations and was successful in completeing the College of Chiropractors Ontario Ethics Examination. She  started her clinical placements at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Campus Clinic and at the Sherbourne Health Centre in downtown Toronto. These placements gave her the opportunity to treat a very diverse patient population including; patients with chronic pain, weekend warriors, elderly patients, students, office workers, and athletes.

 

Heather grew up in a small town in rural Ontario, Canada and loves the  small-town atmosphere. She has always had a passion for travelling and exploring new places, and when the opportunity to move and work in a small town in Ireland presented itself, she knew it would be a great fit. Heather is also a sports fan and growing up she played competitive ice hockey and field hockey; competing in both at the provincial level.  She is also a Toronto Maple Leaf’s hockey fan and  is very excited to watch and learn more about GAA sports.

Dr. Godkin provides evidence based, patient centered chiropractic care. She utilizes chiropractic adjustments, joint mobilizations, manual soft tissue therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy (smart tools), orthotic prescription, stretching and rehab exercises, and modalities including Deprogun Massage and TENS. She is very excited to provide chiropractic care and to become involved in the Clarecastle and Nenagh communities.
